About Us
THE 73 ONE MOVEMENT is a national initiative born from the collective consciousness of Zambians who believe in the fundamental unity of our nation. Founded on the principle that Zambia's strength lies in its diversity, we stand as a beacon of hope against the divisive forces of tribalism, reversed tribalism, tribal politics, and all forms of ethnic discrimination.
In a nation blessed with 73 tribes, each contributing unique cultural richness to our national tapestry, we believe that true progress can only be achieved when we stand together as ONE ZAMBIA, ONE NATION. Our movement represents the voice of reason, unity, and progressive thinking in the fight against ethnic divisions that threaten our social fabric and national development.
Our Vision
A Zambia where tribal identity enriches rather than divides; where opportunities are based on merit rather than ethnicity; where every citizen feels equally valued, respected, and empowered regardless of their tribal background.
Our Mission
To actively promote and cultivate unity, equality, and inclusivity across all regions of Zambia through advocacy, education, and community engagement, with the specific objective of eradicating tribalism, reversed tribalism, tribal politics, and tribal discrimination in all their forms.
Core Values
đź”— Unity
We believe that Zambia's greatest strength is its unity. Our diversity of tribes should be a source of national pride and strength, not division. We advocate for a national identity that transcends tribal affiliations while celebrating our unique cultural heritage.
⚖️ Equality
Every Zambian deserves equal opportunities, rights, and treatment regardless of their tribal background. We champion meritocracy, fairness, and justice in all spheres of society—education, employment, politics, and social services.
🌍 Inclusivity
We promote an inclusive society where every voice is heard, every culture is respected, and every individual feels they belong. Our movement celebrates diversity while fostering a sense of national belonging that includes all 73 tribes.
📚 Education
We believe that education is the most powerful tool against prejudice. We advocate for educational reforms that promote national unity, teach the value of diversity, and eliminate tribal stereotypes from curricula and public discourse.

We hold ourselves and our leaders accountable for promoting national unity. We advocate for policies and practices that prevent tribal discrimination and promote equal representation across all sectors.
